ByStorm is an NDIS registered provider, and our adaptive grip aids are classified as low-cost assistive technology (AT). That means you don't need an OT assessment to buy them, and you can claim them through your Core Supports – Consumables budget.

How to order with your NDIS funding
Self-Managed
- Buy directly through our website, just like any other order.
- Keep your receipt and claim reimbursement from the NDIS.
Plan-Managed
- Complete the order form on our NDIS orders page.
- We send the invoice straight to your Plan Manager for payment.
NDIA-Managed (Agency-Managed)
- Complete the order form on our NDIS orders page.
- As an NDIS registered provider, we can claim directly through PRODA on your behalf.
- You'll need your NDIS participant number, your date of birth, and your plan start and end dates.
- Once the claim is approved, we ship your order.

Is it reasonable and necessary?
To claim through your plan, the product should tick these boxes:
- It relates to your disability and your daily personal-care needs.
- It supports your independence, like doing your makeup on your own.
- It's a cost-effective option compared to other supports.
- It isn't funded by another system, like Medicare.
If you're not sure, ask your Support Coordinator, Plan Manager or NDIS Planner before you order.
