Hi, I’m Storm.

For as long as I can remember, my right hand has worked a little differently. I had a stroke before i was born and it affects the right side of my body. Most of the time, people don’t notice. I learned early how to adapt quietly and keep up.

But when I broke my dominant hand, everything changed.I went to do my makeup like I always did and suddenly couldn’t open a tube of mascara. Tools designed to feel fun became frustrating. Tiny, slippery packaging designed for tight grip strength and steady hands.

I assumed solutions already existed. Beauty launches something new every week, right? But nothing was made for hands like mine, or for tremors, pain, weakness, or fatigue. The message was quiet, but clear.

This wasn’t made for you. So I did what I’ve always done. I figured it out.

I taught myself 3D modelling. I started designing grips that attach to the makeup people already love. I tested, failed, redesigned, and tested again, alongside the disability community.

One thing my friend said, changed everything.
“Makeup isn’t made for people like me because no one thinks I could be beautiful.”

ByStorm exists to challenge that idea.
